If you go to this site according to IMDB.com Lucasfilm owns the rights to the special edition and FOX owns the rights to the original version. Maybe talking to FOX will get the OT released since Lucas doesn't technically own. But the SE is 95% the OT so how does he own the SE and noth OT?
