Finn’s line placement is really in the wrong spot, making it sound like an awkward afterthought to the battle. Moving the line to the destroyer destruction around the galaxy doesn’t work well either because it turns him into the narrator of Star Wars, similar to 300 or The Road Warrior. The final scene would be old Finn teaching at a Jedi temple (and maybe still screaming REEEYYYY).
