My wife and I used to watch it and we enjoyed it. However, it just became too much of the same old, same old. Ray acts like a dumbass, Deborah yells at him, Robert laughs at him, his father acts oblivious, and his mother pins the blame on Deborah and chastises her for her inability to cook. You can only act that out so many times before it gets tired.

Still grates on me though. I just get tired of the perpetuated stereotypes. Not that other shows don't have them, I'll admit. But stereotyping is all this show has. I want so desperately to bitch slap Deborah and the mom into oblivion. Then we can just have Peter Boyle in a pseudo spin off called "My Two Sons".

Yeah, DAYV. The Simpsons used to be a lot more consistent, but you know the show's in trouble when even the Treehouse of Horror episode for the season is weak.

I agree that The Simpsons does overplay the same thing. But, in their case, I can handle it because at least they have several dozen characters on which they can play the plot off of. Raymond has five. No, wait, Robert's married now, isn't he? Six. Oooh that helps them.

ok back to topic did any one see todays enterprise. man oh man next weeks is going to be something special. i have never been left in so much suspence. the show is definately turing out outstanding ep and storys. i may even buy this season on dvd when it comes out. holy shit it is good. and the story is so intregueing its like a mystery you can figure out what happens if you are really really good 2 eps b4 it happens. they connect everythings this only thing i can compare it to is that is it like reading a book or a series, with each ep being a chapter. and having them all link together. this si insane how good it is getting.

A SERIES ALWAYS GETS BETTER WHEN THEY LINK THE EPISODES, BUT IT MAKES IT HARDER FOR NEW VIEWERS JUST COMING INTO THE SHOW.

i reall started to dislike buffy after a few season, but with angel i am haveing the time of my life. any way back to enterprise, like i said b4 this show is gold. i am border line on buying this season when it comes out on dvd, and that is something i never came close to doing with any other show ever.

My local used store had the first season of Buffy available for US$30. Was considering it. I've seen a few episodes here and there and this would be a great way to break it in.
