Well that being said it does look amazing and is the best release on home video so far. It was actually the first Blu-ray I ever purchased long before I even had a Blu-ray player. The criterion LD also has an excellent transfer with the lovely exclusive extras but the modern restoration techniques on the Blu-ray really vaults ahead on vintage Technicolor. I cannot wait to see what this would look like in 4K!
