I can't consider Bush a racist. He has way too close a relationship with Condoleeza for that. But he clearly doesn't have the mental game for the job he's in. This is the only President who will stay on vacation in the midst of a national emergency until the press howls for his blood, and THEN not get on the ground, but take an arial tour of the wreckage on his way back to DC. Bush AND his advisors screwed the pooch on this. Bush screwed the pooch putting Michael Brown in charge of FEMA, a man with no credentials for the job.
