here is a question for those of you that saw SM2
who is the villin in the next one?
A. venom
B. Green Goblin(Harry Osborn)
C. Both
i think it my be either both or just the GG.
well eddie brock (vemon) was introduced in the first one
i dont think they wiill use eddie as venom in this movie, i think its going to be the news guys son, the end of this movie must have really made alot of tension between the son and peter for obvious reasons.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!
One reviewer I read (and he's the only one to bring it up) thought that it was possible that something might come from the Russian girl from Pete's apartment complex. She had a minor role, but it was more than just some insignificant bit part. He was suggesting that she might become Black Cat. She obviously likes Peter. And, who knows, maybe she will be revealed as having been in the background watching when MJ showed up at Pete's in the wedding gown. She's gonna be the unrequited love case in the story. No, it doesn't follow the comic book. But only some of what we've seen in the movies thus far truly has. What do you guys think? Or did I mention this already and forgot about it completely?
I was thinking the same thing actually, but she is too skinny and frail-looking to be Black Cat. Um.. but for the record, did anybody catch the name of the girl or of Peter's landlord?

As for the girl, her character's name was Ursula. I'm assuming she's the daughter of the landlord or the other guy in the apartment. But that's not a guarantee. She could just be someone living there. The landlord was Mr. Aziz and the other guy was Mr. Ditkovich (thank you, IMDb).
Ursula Aziz?
Ursula Ditkovich?
Dunno.
Black Cat's real name is Felicia Hardy with one alias being Felicity Harmon. Who knows. Both of those names could be assumed to hide her true identity. She's a cat burglar, after all. Why endanger her family?
Also, what's to stop them from completely altering Black Cat's background? She's not one of the better-known characters in the Spider-Man universe. They could get away with it. And the love triangle would be an interesting twist in a future movie.
As for a villain in S-M 3, I'm pulling for Venom. Don't bring the second coming of Green Goblin into the fold this early. Give him some time to develop his skills. The only downside to Brock as Venom in S-M 3 is that you have to find some way to explain the alien symbiote suit and have it meld with Brock very quickly to make him a viable villian within two and a half hours. Maybe it would be best to resort to Green Goblin II and get the ball rolling with Brock in the movie to set him up for S-M 4. Okay, guess I just contradicted the first couple sentences in this paragraph entirely. C'est la vie.

They may have "set up" Brock as Venom. But you still need to "set up" the alien symbiote. Remember? In the comics, Parker gets this alien symbiote suit that can read how he feels and react accordingly. However, when he realizes that it is taking over his mind and body, he tries to get rid of it but it won't leave until the Fantastic Four help him. The suit escapes from the FF and finds its way to Eddie Brock and, hence, we have Venom. You can't just have Brock show up someday in a black suit that has swirling tentacles and can mutate into God only knows what without some kind of explanation as to where it came from.

Harry goes to see a therapist to rid himself of the "delusional" thoughts of seeing his father, and in the process sells off the technology to the character who becomes the Hobgoblin. The Goblin's presence in the news makes Harry even crazier, and he takes to the skies to defend the true name of Green Goblin. Whaddya think?
I LIKE IT SO THE GREEN AND HOBGOBLIN WOULD BATTLE IT OUT

I hope they won't go with the Harry-becomes-the Goblin storyline. I think that last scene with him in the movie shows that he realizes that his father was the green goblin and that he forgives Spider-Man. I know it's different in the comics but it would be rather boring if they used a Goblin as a villain AGAIN. There are loads of cool villains in the Spider-Man comics so would be stupid to use the some sort twice.

well in the spidey mythos, Harrys obsession with revenge against Spiderman drives him into a deep psychosis where he actually believes he is the green goblin, he believes he is really seeing & chatting to his father, who basically orders him to succeed him & destroy spiderman. Obviously its all in his head, but pretty much how they laid it out in the movie is a nice introduction to the eventual return of the Green Goblin.
As for Eddie Brock...........I belive he was seen in a brief cameo in the 1st film during the Daily Bugle scene, I'll rewatch the movie to double check!
I personally agree with the comment made about the alien symbiote costume, I think for the story to work you really need to introduce him slowly, have the fated shuttle mission with John Jameson becoming infected by the symbiote, Spidey getting "attached" to it & then trying to destroy it (this COULD happen in film 3) the film COULD end wit Eddie Brock becoming Venom.
One character people seem to be overlooking as a potential villain for film 3 is.......
THE LIZARD
aka Doc Connors...........
In spidey 2 he comments on his close friendship with Otto Octavius, i'm assuming then it wouldnt be too difficult to introduce some form of story in which octavius & Connors were working on gene replacement therapy.......Octavius also working for Oscorp, cor this is all getting a tad incestuous!
Im a tad worried though at the over use of the revenge against Spiderman theme...it works ok for 2 movies & the return of the green goblin, but over a series of movies??? just a wee bit tooo dull..only my 2 cents!
Oh yeah, I thought the movie ROCKED!!!!!

opps.. my bad
here i got an idea for a how it will work, and this s very different from the comics. in the 3rd movie venom is introduced, and we have the green goblin again. hows this fro something. as wel all know the symbot is evil and it makes spiderman evil as well for a short time, and we all know that fro a time spiderman is better with venom and he likes venom. what if as the venom spiderman peter kills the second green goblin and after killing his best friend as venom he realizes that the symbiot is evil the movie ends with him getting ride of it and thinking that it is gone. there is a good way to use everything and tie the 3rd and 4th.

We don't want, what is turning out to be some of the best films I've seen in years, a piece of crap like bloody Batman.
3 films with Toby then the next one with someone else, then the next with someone else agian.
Have what is always best.....a nice trilogy!

As far as I can tell, there are too many villans for 3.
We have a potential Lizard, GG2, Venom?? fucking Man-Wolf (although this will probably be Venom) who else?!?! Doc Ock, we didn't reall see him die now did we!?!
I just hope they don't balls it all up!!
Fuck me, I came out of the cinema last night so much happier after watching this than any new Star Wars film or LOTR.
Well done all!!
This how you make good enjoyable films.
And Spidey swinging through the streets of New York is probably the best piece of film I've seen in a long, long time. Gave me goose bumps..The train fight....WOW.......
So bloody good!!!
