Since we haven’t heard back from DominicCobb in a while, I decided to re-cut two samples for a Rey Nobody edit. I think Dominic’s work with Kylo Ren and Palpatine at the beginning and Rey and Luke’s scene are perfect cut together for a Rey Nobody attempt. I’m not sure how you feel about the way he cut together Kylo Ren and Rey’s Force duel with them telling the story of her parents, as that could possibly be used for the Rey Nobody edit.

I think Palpatine’s line, “The only family you have here …is me” still works in the context that they’re not related, as it is something he could have said to Vader at the end of Revenge of the Sith after mourning the loss of Padmé.
