Heh, ironically I have the OOT and a few other films on Laserdisc and don't even have a player!

I really need to get one though, so if anyone has an extra one they want to get rid of, just send it to me.

I have a pile of other films on Laserdisc that may never show up on DVD. (At least one was never officially released on VHS!) Then you have things like commentary tracks or extras from Criterion and the like that will never ported over because of rights issues. And don't even get me started on stereo movies that ended on DVD in glorious mono!
The OT was released on Beta. Literally every major home video format (sans 8mm) has gotten Star Wars.

" I just found this over at amazon. "

Is there still a decent VHS market in the UK, or anywhere else in PAL-land (Laserman?) I've yet to see an NTSC version.
