i'm just curious cause jay said a couple weeks at th ebegining of june it think it was. i jsut was wondering if there were any major delays

I'd like it to be postponed for a while... For the next few weeks I don't think I'll be able to get here so frequently as I used to, and when it gets done, I'd like to have the time to write the new material Jay asked for the new website and help in whatever is necessary.

Believe it or not, I'm actually working on the forum software. I gave up on ASP.NET and went back to ColdFusion. .NET seems needlessly complicated, even for complex web applications.

Since I'm already familiar with ColdFusion and it's much faster to work with, development should proceed more smoothly now. I'll probably post a couple of teaser screenshots soon.

I wouldn't trust dot net either.

I never worked with coldfusion but if you're more familiar with it, I think it's better to use it. Besides, it HAS to be better than the whole incomplete dot net framework architecture. Did you also consider Java, Jay?

I know even less about Java--which is nothing at all--than I did about .NET before I started learning it. Never really considered it.

We'll be beta testing by next weekend.

I'd say this weekend, but I'm driving out to State College, PA for my bachelor party on Saturday. I highly doubt I'll be in any condition on Sunday to finish development.

Thanks for all the congratulations guys. The bachelor party was a good time.
