I think it would help if you could see the Falcon visibly damaged immediately after breaking through the ice wall. Like add some smoke and flames. I’d also like to see the TIEs begin to follow and then veer off course after the Falcon jumps, although that might be tough to implement.

Also here’s an idea to make the lightspeed skipping talk feel less out of nowhere. Finn would have to be removed from the background of the cockpit and his voice processed to sound like it’s coming over the intercom.
