Isn’t the next scene Anakin and Obi-wan talking to her about how they’ve been assigned to protect her? You might be able to just cut the Palpatine meeting and let it be.
The real value of the Palpatine scene imo is that it’s basically the only mention of Dooku until Geonosis, but he’s underutilized in this movie (and its sequel) anyway.
