Help: Need ideas for Clone Wars Mandalorian Arc (3rd project)

Hello there,

If you check out my profile I have 2 other Mandalore-related project, both are done and ready to be watched. So now I am ready to move on to the 3rd one, making the Mandalorian supercut for the Clone Wars series.

The problem here is that I need ideas like the names, title crawls and how to compile them to make a coherent film/movie.

Siege of Mandalore not included as it is already part of Revenge of the Sith supercut.

The Mandalore and Maul storylines don’t really interact with each other until the 14th episode in your list, so I agree the better way to pull this off would be introducing Maul and Savage when the Death Watch rescues them in “Eminence”. That scene opens from the point of view of the Mandalorians, and Maul later summarizes his background to Vizsla anyway, so including the Nightsister and Revenge story arcs is not really necessary. Keep the focus on the Mandalorians.

My suggestion would be to either focus the plot on Maul or Mandalore. I made an edit based around Maul in TCW (pre-Season 7), and it only included the Mandalore episodes when absolutely necessary. There was a 10 minute trim of Voyage of Temptation just to establish Obi-Wan and Satine’s relationship, but the rest of the first half was all Maul and Savage episodes.

So my suggestion is either focus it on Maul and Dathomir, only bringing in Mandalore and Death Watch when they are relevant, or focus it on Mandalore and have Maul only show up around when Death Watch finds him.

That makes sense. Since my focus here is Mandalore, if we cut down Maul’s arc the new list would be

Now with 9 episodes left, the total runtime become approximately 3 hours (~20 min per episode) which is a reasonably length for a supercut. I’m also thinking how to incorporate smoothly “A Friend in Need”. Lux Bonteri was only first introduced in “Heroes on Both Sides”. Do you think I need to include that episode?

Any ideas for the movie title and opening crawl?
My ideas for titles:

• Throne of Mandalore

• Rise of Death Watch

• Rise of Mandalore 🤷‍♂

• War for Mandalore 😅

Rise of the Shadow Collective

As Civil War Rages across the galaxy. Former Duchess
Satine Kryze, leader of neutral systems of Mandalore
wants the senate to not let the republic occupy Mandalore.

Meanwhile Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is sent to lead this
investigation on Concordia about the death watch leading
with the separatists and how they’re a deadly threat.

Prime Minister Almec has sent one of his guards to seek
pre vizla governor of Concordia, true son of Mandalore plans to overthrow
mandalore’s corrupt government. In early plans Savage Opress and Maul seeks Pre Vizla and Bo Katan after the skirmish on florrum. Nevertheless, the Death Watch made allies with the Black Sun, Pykes and the Hutts
to remove Duchess Satine in power of the Mandalorian Government….

Well actually, Bo Katan and Vizla encountered Lux and Ashoka on Carlac when their ship crashed. Which I don’t want to spoil.
