Yeah, you all convinced me on the “come home” point, provided what Dominic or anyone does with it sounds natural.
And thanks to all for input, resources, and mockups for the Sith whispers. We should be able to pretty solidly put that to rest. The blade compass thing wasn’t the worst thing in the movie, so I wasn’t really even thinking about it, but it’s good to implement a decent workaround.
I think the only whispers like that occur around the Wayfinders in the movie. If so, perhaps I could revisit the whispers that Kylo hears at the beginning, to make Rey’s more unique, presumably to the dagger.
If you are going for the whispers my route with Rey and the dagger, you can use the whispers you used for your rough draft that came from SWTOR ambient music. Those are more masculine, so they could fit with Kylo’s Sith whispers? That way they are both distinct, or at least not using the same sound if you are wanting to go that route!
