That’s a fair criticism, as this is a pretty lax edit in terms of story changes. That’s my usual style; I would like for this to be something that truly could have been projected in place of the original and not cause any more problems. To feel really polished and not have anything iffy. (As far as I can help in the fan editor role. Do no harm.)

And I will certainly join anyone in hoping someone goes further with more changes and ideas past this “safe” starting place. It’s not that I like this movie better than the others, just that there’s not a lot of wiggle room to finesse without taking it to territory I’m not big on. I still hope to do a ‘Rey Nobody’ edit once the world can see Dominic’s work on that front.
On my way home from work now… hope to watch the workprint soon. I’m a pretty big Canon guy (never experienced Legends material other than Kotor and Force Unleashed) and that’s one of the main reasons I love Hal’s edits is that you can just essentially put these films in place of the original with very few continuity issues. Everything that has been done in this forum has fixed pretty much all of my gripes with the film, other than having deleted scenes… it really goes to show the talent of you all but also with slight modifications, tiny scene replacements and VFX work could have saved this movie for alot of people
