That’s why I don’t take “I am all the Sith” literally. It doesn’t make any sense for every Sith Lord to possess the person who kills them. If we follow that logic, then every Sith Lord would be possessed by Darth Bane.
I think Sidious just means he’s the most powerful Sith.
