I have no problem with 3-D as a genre. In fact, it's pretty cool. I just think George Lucas should squeeze two simple words into the middle of his passionate love affair with Star Wars: "letting go." I have to agree, but the problem is there are also proposed TV series coming up, more cartoons coming up, It seems to be getting pointless and never ending. I personally would like George to do something other than Star Wars and get back to doing stuff however unlikely like THX 1138 and American Graffiti. I would hate to see Star Wars to just a become "another" Sci-Fi franchise, when in my opinion it was always bigger than just any old franchise
Now this 3-D seems to me like an excuse the throw out a Star Wars product with a new gimmick for the 30th Anniversary and then just to milk the franchise to death with as many TV shows and cartoons as possible.
