Thanks, haha. I have the audio separated out. I’m only doing a stereo mix… I don’t have time to deal with 5.1 at my real job, definitely don’t wanna deal with it for fun, haha.

Also what about editing in a falling Star Destroyer over Coruscant in the finale?

It’s been a while since I’ve contributed here, but I just noticed that you updated your cutlist to add Leia’s voice saying “always” at the end of Luke’s line. I had forgotten to mention this earlier but I had tried to do the same thing and realised that adding Leia’s line on top of Luke’s “always”, (so that they say “always” together) works surprisingly well. Maybe you could experiment with that?

Makes sense. Because I wasn’t too sure if she was dead or near death during the sequence

I agree! The scene I was creating did have Qui-Gon and Mace Windu but I feel 4 was the perfect number and scrapped my plans after seeing your scene. It’s more personal to the Skywalker saga, imo.

I used an HDR source and a non-HDR output. I haven’t fixed it yet. I’m also not a huge fan of the over-saturated look of Abrams’ films… the red sky when the New Republic is destroyed looks like the ending of Joss Whedon’s Justice League.

I love how the center channel is so clean! Was it taken from a different mix? It makes the music sound more seamless.
