Having a problem with DVDStyler to create the files for burning “The Empire Strikes Back” to DVD.

I use DVDStyler to “just generate” the files and then use AnyBurn to burn the DVD.

I set DVDStyler to Default Disc Capacity “DVD-9 (8.5 GB).” But the generated files end up being 9.36 GB, which is too big for a dual layer DVD.

I would have expected the software to mix it down to 8.5 GB or smaller. It always has with other DVD’s.

I used the same exact settings for Harmy’s Return of the Jedi, V. 2.5. There’s not too much difference between the source file size for ROTJ (19.2GB) and TESB (19.7 GB).

All DVDStyler settings are the same for both Empire and Return. I’m choosing the same audio tracks for both: DTS 5.1, Dolby digital 2.0 and the Isolated score.

Return turns out just fine. In fact Return generates in less than an hour, while Empire takes over six hours to generate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
