I thought AOTC was pretty bad, but when I watched the deleted scenes, I liked it a little more. Some interesting, almost necessary stuff was chopped out in favor of extended fight sequences that would've made the movie make more sense and not feel so cheesy and forced. I still think it's lackluster overall, with "missed potential" being the key phrase. I forget if fan-edits have incorporated the deleted material or not? And if I remember correctly from some cut scenes sites, isn't there more stuff on the cutting room floor that wasn't on the DVD? Guess that maybe'll be on a Super Special 3-D Edition someday.

TPM is just dull, and weak. I don't think I've watched the original version more than twice-- I can't even get through it anymore. Talking about the PT now, Lucas seems to have reluctantly wrote them in a such a deliberate way, as if only one thing should be accomplished in each movie, then stuffing Ep. III like a Hot Pocket, and he really didn't have to. There were a million possibilities (regardless of whether or not he actually planned it since the '70's or not), and to have done "Ep. I = needless setup", etc. really was kind of a waste.
