Sorry, no i did not mean to imply I know anything about why Ridley’s been absent lately. I have no reason to believe he’s ill or hurt!!!
I was making an ineffective joke referencing LOE, but inverted. Rather than saying Padme died when really she’s alive, it’s the opposite.
Never mind. I’m sure Ridley’s fine, and is just taking a break. At least, I hope so.
If RogueLeader doesn’t mind, I can post the links he sent. With this, the final piece of the puzzle, I can give things one more pass and begin encoding!
While I have closed the door on the prequels and will eventually close the door on the sequels, it will remain cracked open for the original trilogy. They’re… special (edition) cases. I can imagine a day in which new source material are available and ready to be stitched together in a NLE. I won’t need to do anything fancy, so I could survive within FCPX and use my existing audio streams. However, it would take something compelling to merit doing so, as Ridley especially has put so much work into the 2011-based ANH, and I borrow an entire scene from Adywan’s (720p) 2011-sourced ESB:R.

I’m here! I’m fine, don’t worry. I’ve just not been here as much for no particular reason.
Just realised that Ridley’s Falcon cockpit shots are missing the middle beam in the window. It seems that in all other films the beam is there.
I didn’t realize that a beam needed to be added, so I didn’t. But if it should be there I wish I had done so! I guess there are other shots in the film that would need to be changed as well if it was decided to add the missing beam. If Hal would like the beam I could add it, I don’t think it would be a lot of work.

Because the people here have knocked my socks off lately (and for a long time now)…
Anyone feel like replacing Alderaan’s explosion with Kijimi’s? No shockwave and looks better all around. Might need some kind of morph or blend to get the explosion started.

ROTJ should be appearing real soon in the usual places. The BR quality one is uploading now, and the others are being encoded. There’s no Sarlacc tentacles, though there will hopefully be a V2 someday with that. But in case that never happens, and so that no one has to wait, V1 is upon us.

Yeah it does. I didn’t feel it was worth the shifting of sources in order to remove since the difference is much more noticeable than jumping between 2011 and 2004.

Hehehehe… boy. The audio files I had prepared for this for months do not take advantage of the the improvements to the Sarlacc sequence I did for an update to the OOT-synced 1997 SE audio project. The shot where Luke stares down the Sarlacc from the plank has the wrong sound.
I only put out the 1080p version so far, so I’ll pull it until I can correct and reupload.

Turns out I already made the corrections. I think what happened is I made the corrections but didn’t update the “ready to be muxed whenever the video stream exists” audio files already sitting there.
So bear with me.
