The shuttle looks awesome. The slight size increase is not jarring at all.
I believe the only time we see a TIE land on screen (in live action at least) is Moff Gideon’s fighter in The Mandalorian. But I’m pretty sure that one is a different model, since it folded its wings in order to land.
It is a different model; regular TIES just land with their wings square like they normally are. Gideon’s TIE is labelled an ‘Outland TIE’ in supporting stuff.
There’s one other model of TIE with folding wings, the TIE Advanced V1, the model used Imperial Inquisitors (this model also has a hyperdrive). It’s got curved wings, though, not flat ones.
