As for the crawl idea, I think I am personally not sold on the idea of Kylo looking for a rumored imperial fleet. The reason is we know what is goal is, looking for a Sith Wayfinder to lead him … to something related to the Sith. The Wayfinder he is looking for is his grandfather’s, Darth Vader, who himself said from the very first Star Wars movie “Don’t be too proud of this technological terror you’ve constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.” It’s all about the Force.

If the wording is more on the lines of (Not exact since writing is not my speciality) “Meanwhile, Supreme Leader Kylo Ren has traveled to Mustafar, chasing dark whispers hinting a power to destroy any threat to his empire…”

Anyway, just my two cents. Plus its a nod back to Revenge of the Sith with Anakin’s foolish thought when chatting with Obi-Wan at the end about “His Empire” as well as to Padme thinking he is in control … when he really isn’t.
