I downloaded both Episodes 4 & 5 of Dark Jedi's Definitive Edition transfers, and they look great. Most impressive. Also, very little parring needed. However, Episode 6 didn't come down so well. Only 14 of the rars came down without damage and all the par files were damaged too. So, I'm about 337 blocks short.

I'm using my ISP's news server, so maybe that could be my problem.

dark jedi: I know someone is going to post your SE versions on MySpleen, any plans for having these posted?

My ISP server sometimes screws up - weekend server maintenance I was told!!!

To cover this, I took out a $25/65GB account at Astraweb which covers these problems rather well. Plus, there are more groups and the posts are there much longer.

yes there are plans on having all my releases eventually go to myspleen as well,just have to wait untill Metallaxis gets them ready,he already has in his possesion the SW "pan & scan" set and the SW"definitive collection"set,and soon as i finish them up, he will have the "Jedi/Feta' SE set,possibly Blade Runner "Criterion",and i will be sending him Doctor M's ANH,and ESB.

I reccomend Giganews for a good server. They have a massive retention and pretty much carry nearly all newsgroups. I got myself an unlimited account with them and it wasn't too expensive either.

A weird thing is happenning with the Blade Runner post on a.b.starwars.

All of Segaflips posts to date have appearred on my ISP servers.

The Blade Runner post does not appear at all yet my Astraweb account shows all of the parts posted so far.

The only differrence I can see is that the post is also to a.b.dvd which my ISP servers do not see.

The recent ANH 2004 rip did the same thing too and that was also posted to a.b.dvd.

Any clues???

Russ - not sure what the deal is with that, never had that problem before. It is all coming up fine on giganews.
If you cant get it off of a.b.starwars just email me and I can hook you up with good old snail mail.

Thanks for that but this version is already on the way to me.

I just found it weird that the post did not show on a.b.sw through my ISP but did through Astraweb.

I have noticed this before and wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem.......

I am just hoping that Segaflip's regular a.b.sw posts come through OK in the future and that this is a one off.

Blade Runner is the only post that I did to more then one group, a.b.dvd, a.b.starwars. That might have been the problem. On my posting software a.b.dvd is listed first so next time I double post I will make sure that a.b.starwars is first, see if that helps.

I second that. I really apreciate everything segaflip! Props to EVERYONE on this board that have helped out (rikter immediately comes to mind, but there are so many others!). I really have to thank segaflip, though, because I'm actually BACKED UP downloading from a.b.starwars!!! LOL

Easynews has a poor retention time, the Rowman's should still be around on Usenetserver if that helps (http://www.usenetserver.com/).

Thanks Darth Mallwalker for replying. I will post it when i get them. I stay in pretty good communications with Dark Jedi so dont worry they will be posted. We will also be doing a joint transfer, really he his doing the transfer I am supplying the Lazerdiscs, more on that later...

Will be deleted from my HD in an hour maybe alittle longer but not much!!

that list does have the SE's on it it is called the Jedi/Feta SE set,segaflip just has it mis-spelled it is jedi/feta not jedi/fett,whenever you see this that is the SE set i did with boba feta.
