I was looking through Amazon Prime and saw that there’s a ROTJ (Theatrical Version) available. I haven’t been able to verify this yet but for those who have, is this for real?

Amazon Prime Video knowingly mis-selling an altered CGI/Special Edition version of Return Of The Jedi - yet labelling it as ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Theatrical Version)’ 👎
‘Scott’ in the Comment Section of the supposed ‘Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Theatrical Version)’ knows the score, from 2018:-
“I love the movie but this gets a one star because it is a lie. It says theatrical version. This is not the theatrical version it is the altered version where they added in scenes and changed music. I already have this version on dvd. I bought this only because it said theatrical version. I hate the changes to the movie and just want to watch it the way it was. Don’t buy this if you want the unchanged version or you are wasting your money.”

“I love Return of the Jedi, always have… but this version has the ridiculous and unnecessary CG sequences especially at Jabba’s palace (that atrocious singing sequence) and the young Anakin “spirit” at the end, which totally ruined the whole movie in my opinion. I wish Amazon gave you a choice of buying this one or the original remastered version.”
I hope Scott and the others got their money back from being mis-sold a version of a film that the seller knows it is not the ‘theatrical version’ of the film.
