Imagine if Abrams had simply revealed that Snoke was actually Darth Plagueis, and had once again cheated death? Would that not have made for a better story??

Hmm, that was just me speculating, but now I’m wondering: could the name “Palpatine” be removed from TROS, perhaps adding a flashback of “the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise”? This could have huge ramifications for the entire saga - implying that Palatine in the prequels may actually have been Plagueis himself.

This could actually work in a reedit that eliminates the “Rey Palatine” angle.
