Maybe there was reencoding, but it wasn't Rikter if there was. The (info page on Superman II: RIC states that the "final version" contains... and then lists all the items Rikter has listed. Perhaps you simply have an earlier version of the disc?

It looks like there will be a lot more new members at myspleen due to the superman cut!!!. Supermancinema fans are really excited about this, awesome!!

Halloween 6: The Origin of Michael Myers - The Producers Cut "Workprint" - VHS transfer NON-Composite!!


I know halloween 2 and 4 have producer cut versions and I've been scouting for those. Only available on ebay right now for $70+

Hey shadow_cruiser,

Head on over to www.halloweeenmovies.com, and go to their forums. They have one forum called "memorbilia" or something like that for trading and stuff. There is a guy named "Franchise" who has a bunch of Halloween rare cuts that he "trades" for about $15-$20. These include the tv/alternate cut of Halloween II, Halloween: H20, Halloween Ressurection (i.e., Halloween: Homecoming). I think he has a few more. Anyway, I love to get my hand on some of these cuts...been thinking about it for awhile. But you should definitely shoot him a PM over there...

I guess I do have an earlier version because all that extra stuff definitely isn't on there. Looking foward to downloading this. I'm assuming that the first movie is coming along? If not, I have that one as well.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I'm into buying fan distributed DVD's anymore ever since a year ago I was duped into buying the TR47 set for $80 off ebay. If it were me with a little more money right now, I would buy those, rip em and put em up on a torrent. I think these will probably end up on a torrent site sooner or later anyway. The cuts I saw on ebay weren't the producers cut or tv cut, it was like a directors cut with 40-60 minutes of additional footage. It was so long ago when I was search for the star wars OT. Anyway, that halloween site is very informative.

P.S. - Upon searching the word torrent in that site, I came up with 3 matches and none of them mentioning anything about file sharing. LOL, I guess there not into that.

Hey there - I've now gotten like 4 emails asking about my Halloweeen Transfers/Captures - My brother and myself have spend about 4-6 years recording, trading and buying all the VHS tapes we could find of the Halloween movies and alternate cuts, well we've picked the best tapes to make these tapes, so here is what we've done (anything marked ANGRYSUN is our capture and encode)

If anyone is interested in my many rare titles I am ready to share. I have been collecting for years and it's time to give back ;-)

I have asked Rikter to upload a few but haven't heard back from him.

If and when this works out they will most liekly be on Myspleen.com, or I am hopeing do.

A few really rare titles are -

Damnation Alley - Star Airwolfs Jan Micheal Vincent in a Nuclear War Flic from the OOP laserdisc tranfer (note*this is not the crappy one that floated the net a few years back) also note* Not the goodtimes crap video either. This version begins in Widescreen and goes to fullscreen in the first five minutes. Very clean. No extras

Battle for the Planet of ther Apes - Extended Version /This is a clean 2nd Gen DVD copy from a OOP Japanese laserdisc. The transfer was done poorly but the color and xound is good. This version was commonly scene on Television in the 1980's. This is presented in a widescreen with burned in japanese subs) no extras


a few more I have.

King Kong 1976 - extended 3-hour NBC version/ This is the cleanest copy out there. How I know it was transfered from my fathers BETAMAX to VHS years back. I have the original VHS tape transfers still. However, I have since transferedit to DVD which is poor. I may send RIkter ( again if he is interested ) the original VHS. If you scene this copy before there is a 100% chance it was a copy from my DVD transfer. no extras but who cares it's 45 mins more of the film which fills in the plot holes.


Jet Li Fist of Legend Ritek Uncut version

Close Encounter theatrical version Widescreen

And a

Making of Alien Resurrection that was made for a OOP European Video - This is the full version of the short one on the long OOP US Collectors Video.


So as soon as I hear back from RIK, I will let you know. I hope he helps me with this, I am keeping fingers crossed.

I have tons more also but I'll save them for later.

Well, we now have about 12-14 seeds - so PLEASE gang stay SEEDING on as LONG AS POSSIBLE.

IF there is ANYONE here willing to REMAKE the .torrent file with a NEW TRACKER (like piratebay.org) and RE-UPLOAD the DVD (just use the same files and folder that this DVD came in) PLEASE DO!!! but I do ask that is stay an ISO though - so it retains the DVD-Rom and NFO!

Disc TWO will be up in a day or SO, I need to defrag and clean up my PC before I upload the next DVD so please allow me a bit of downtime.

This release is the MOJO version of Halloween 6 - This is a COMPOSITE that uses footage from the "screener" spliced into footage from the DVD, you will notice each time it uses the VHS footage as the quality is much lower.... BUT this is still a GREAT DVD though!!!

(and one of the contributors to this DVD also is a member of these very forums!!!!)

I also have a GREAT copy of the actual screener on SuperVHS (copied from one of the actual screener tapes ) that I transfered to DVD that will make it to MYSPLEEN.NET
