Hey everyone...

I've been a lurker here for a while, and just noticed this thread. I'd *LOVE* to get copies of these ADM edits (of all 6) on the DL media if someone is interested in the PIF method. Only problem is I don't have a DL burner myself, just a SL one, but I'd be willing to do double the copies (i.e. 6 sets) to make up for it (if that makes any sense?). Anyone that's interested, please let me know.

Well, the cost of DL media is about $8 a disc, vs. $0.40 a disc for SL media, so the ratio would be a lot more than 1:2. However, hopefully somebody with the DL copies will work a deal with you in PM. PIF hasn't been economical for DL media so other approaches are being taken. You should turn on private messaging in your profile.

Oops, didn't realize it was off to be honest. Thanks.

And yeah, I'm open to other suggestions about how I could "repay" for the discs. I'd also be more than happy with the SL versions, don't get me wrong. I'd just love to see it in an uncompressed format is all.

If I recall, only Ep 4 is DL. Episodes 1,2,5,6 are all only single layer, and 3 hasn't been done yet (not on DVD yet). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually, there are DL versions of all 5 films (and will be for ep III as well). However, only IV and VI have any form of special features (multiple audio) on the DL version. The other 3 are merely un-re-compressed video. Because of the expense of DL media and the lack of ubiquitous DL burners, they're not in the PIF system. Perhaps somebody with the DL discs will PM you. They ARE floating around though.

Thanks for your hard work, ADigitalMan. If anybody out there would be willing to work out an arrangement (i.e., pay-it-forward, trade, blanks and postage, indentured servitude, whatever) with me for the Dual Layer versions of each of the films thusfar, I'd be much appreciated. Plus, I have a DL burner so passing on to other folks wouldn't be a problem.

P.S. - I'm also looking for an active link for the ADM Episode II cover art if anyone can help. (Already have the disc art.)

Just watched your Ep5 edit, must say I loved it. This is way better than the 2004 dvd! Next time some one comes over your version is what they WILL watch.
Same goes for your Ep1 edit. I enjoyed your Ep2 edit as well but (hold your breath everyone) I dont really have any problems with ep2 in the first place, unless you know of way to remove Yoda with a lightsaber. Now if only I had time to watch your Ep4 and 6 edits.

PM me and I can coach you through the broad strokes. Simple removal of one scene shouldn't take you too long to accomplish.

So was the final decision not to re-torrent the corrected Vergence only put it into the PIF system?
Were both the single and dual layers fixed?
Don't really know why I'm asking since I missed the error until someone mentioned it, but I guess I am interested in getting into the PIF of the DL once Ep. 3 is ready.

Hello all, just a noob to the ADM fan edits, currently dloading Ep.1 from a.b.s. When I watch it (hopefully this afternoon!) it will only be the second time I've seen the film, couldn't put myself through the painful theatrical cut again!

I was just wondering if someone could be so kind to post (or email me) boba feta's ace covers for the prequels, the slingshot link appears to have died as boba suggested. Also does anyone know if boba created matching covers for Eps 4, 5, and 6.

No I haven't as yet. At this stage I currently have around 15 projects on the go, when I get done with those perhaps I'll get onto it.

Does anyone have SL versions of 4, 5 and 6 available for trade?
I'm also interested in what sound issue there is with EP 2, as I downloaded this from myspleen and couldn't spot any problems.
