That’s fair if it’s not what you wanted, I usually try to judge based on what they’re going for more than what I want. I really liked the direction they took Poe in, the nature of leadership and cocky heroism - I wish they had continued it more seriously in TROS (I’d love for JJ to explain to me why Poe was in an X-wing rather than a capitol ship, especially since he didn’t do anything in that X-wing). Finn did get a bit of the shaft in the edit, but I think his arc was very solid and a good building block for his final arc and conclusion, although unfortunately this was totally ignored in the end with TROS.
