Do we know how far this Chewie scene from the novelisation made it into production? It was obviously written to some extent, and there’s concept art for it, but unlike the cut Mustafar scenes I haven’t seen any indication they shot anything. Maybe they figured it’d be too many flashbacks in a movie which already has Rey flashback to her parents, Kylo and Rey see flashes of Exegol and flashbacks to TFA, a whole flashback sequence with Luke training Leia…
