Thats the thing with time travel. It's all good untill you start thinking about it, then it gets all confusing
Anyway, if I had a time machine I'd go back to 77-85 and buy all the SW stuff I could find. Then go to the future, buy a Lottery ticket with a rollover jackpot, then come back and live happy ever after.
I have this very good idea what I'd also do if I had a time machine, but haven't got time to type it now. But it's something I used to go on about years ago with my mates, when we used to get very stoned in my car....Ahhh the good ol' days
