well, there's 2 common kinds of 2-sided discs.. DVD-10 and DVD-18.
imagine that a double-sided disc is just two DVDs with the non-readable sides glued together. (that's what they are, pretty much!)
DVD-10 would be two single-layer discs, back to back.
DVD-18 would be two dual-layer discs, back to back.
(there's also DVD-14, which has one single layer side and one dual layer side.)
the only feasible way for the complete frighteners documentary to be on this new release would be to use a DVD-18 type of disc. the movie (and maybe some of the other extras) on side one, and the documentary on side two.
