To answer some various questions, about 75% of the story beats of Act 2 have been figured out, its just a matter of getting the specific plot points detailed and the dialogue right (the latter of which I’m admittedly too much of a perfectionist about).

Kenobi will encounter Tarkin it as part of his mission as the tension and subtle distrust Ben has of him is something I’m trying to nail as best I can. The latter needs to have sense of deception to him and its a balance of having Obi-Wan sense something’s off without knowing exactly what it is. They’re two intelligent characters, and the key element is making sure neither one quite tips their hand about their suspicions.

Act II is also tricky at points as I want to have some select exciting moments for the audience even though the Kenobi story is a slow build to the invasion of the Mandalorian homeworld, and Darelda looking into the Coalition infiltration is essentially an investigative thriller. Neither one really lends itself to big action set pieces, but the story could use them to remind the audience of the stakes.
