Very small, but significant update, as the Carima/Kenobi and Skywalker/Kenobi scenes have been rewritten (with the previous posts having been edited to reflect this). I wasn’t satisfied with how overt Anakin’s discontent was being portrayed at this point and it seemed like it was giving too much away of how badly his internal struggle was. As a result Carima now no longer suspects something’s seriously wrong with him, and Skywalker’s confession to Obi-Wan is much more indirect and subtle rather than close to blatant like it was.

As far as future updates, the COVID-19 situation is giving me far more opportunities to write than circumstances have allowed in in some time (in fact I’m currently in the longest period of uninterrupted time off from work I’ve had in years), so hopefully the stalling of the last few months and frustrated rewrites of the most recent sections are that their end and actual progress can start happening again. To all those who still want to read this, I want to apologize for my lack of correspondence/updates and say from the bottom of my heart, your comments and continued interest mean a hell of a lot, and I hope I can make up for my bad habits these past two years soon.
