I might try to make the glowing effect more intense and see how that looks. I actually have it oscillate more rapidly when it is in Ben’s hand, as if the lightsaber is adjusting to Ben’s intensity.
I’m not sure what would be a good alternative effect that could be applied to the lightsaber. Since the instability of the Kylo Ren blade has some symbolic meaning, I feel the Skywalker Saber effect should have some equivalent symbolism for Rey’s state of being.
Might be interesting to have Rey’s be sort of electric as opposed to Kylo’s fiery one, to tie in with the Force lightning. I like the idea of glowing for Rey though, I see what you did there. Maybe the glow can get really bright and almost overwhelm the blue.
