^ One of last few newspapers to have competent investigative journalism in the UK, IMHO mate. Distinctly different than tabloids or political-based mouthpieces of their tax dodging owners; who seem to specialise in the spread of fear, hate and division upon us.

They also welcome opinion articles for various viewpoints and ideologies. The Guardian isn’t perfect (what is?), but it does a lot better job on reporting the news than most out there. It also isn’t afraid to run ‘unpopular’ pieces either, or criticise the current Govt - something that the BBC has strayed away from in recent times.

Good sport section in The Guardian too 😉

^ A blow for those who can’t afford to wait until June to get a payment (if delivered on schedule - the benefits was already struggling before the coronavirus) - but at least it is on the lines of parity with the regularly employed. I hope they can speed up the Universal Credit payments for those on low pay / have limited savings or income until June.
