I agree with you there, ArtGuy! I was actually a long-term fan of the comics and none of the first four Batman films ever really did it for me either. 'Begins' got it real close!
And remember- if YOU grew up looking like Tim Burton you might be all goth/angsty too!
(then again he had Lisa Marie for quite some time, so maybe its worth it!)
