Boooo.What’s wrong with Jedi? They’re literally the cornerstone of the entire franchise. It’s pretty unreasonable not to expect them in some form. Go watch Star Trek if you want soft sci-fi with no mystical powers.

Okay, I’ll relax. But I disagree with your idea that Ahsoka making a cameo means we’ll get a prequel situation with loads of boring Jedi everywhere. If you watched Clone Wars and Rebels, you’d know that Ahsoka isn’t your typical Jedi.
I kind of wished they did try to de-age Hamill for Luke or something. If Din really needs to meet a Jedi.
If done right, (and I think it could be) I’d absolutely love that.
I’d also like something like that to happen, but I’m cautiously optimistic if it can be pulled off convincingly. Disney won’t keep pouring unlimited money into this show, so the effects will get more “TV” as the show goes on. De-aging effects look great in high-budget movies, but I’m not so sure if it can work here.
