Not sure which news server you use but it is all still all there on giganews (that is what i use, easynews is another good one), and i think when you first sign up you can download 1gig or so for free and then cancel.

I did another full update or incremental or something or other and was able to get most of the remaining parts, and I'm sure the PARs I have can take care of the rest.
^^;
Thanks!

Aww...
Cancel that, I'm still missing 175 Blocks...
a repost of r00-r21 would still be very much appreciated then, heh.
Thanks!
EDIT: After an enormous amount of redownloading, I only need 63 more blocks, so if you could maybe put up two or three more par files, it would be greatly appreciated ^^
Thanks!

The same thing happened to me- just doing incrementals skipped a few messages, and then doing a full update got the whole thing. I'm using GrabIt; if you are too, it may be a problem with the software, otherwise I guess it may be a Usenet thing. In any case, this looks like an important tip for us all to remember to help out people who have the problem in the future.
(And unfortunately I didn't download the montage and it's not still on my server, so I can't help with the missing parts.)

The Def. Collection:
I compared this to EditDroid set, the best transfer until now. The clarity of dark_jedi's is better, yes better then EditDroid. The pixilation is not as noticeable. Color wise, as stated not good at seeing colors, appears to be a little bit better then EditDroid, not as faded. My guess is this comes from the laserdisc player used, both set have no color correction, I think not sure about EditDroid's. Sound, well sounds good. A plus for me is that the output level is damn on for what official DVDs are at, at least on my set up. Edit Droids transfer requires me to turn up the volume about 15dB louder then my normal volume.

But then I was confused when I noticed that you already posted a few. And for those, thank you VERY much.
Still downloading them, so I'm not sure if they'll do it...
EDIT: GOT IT!
Those last ones did it, I can PAR the thing into working as of now. MANY thanks for the help, and for actually creating the DVD!

a quick question: I admit, I am a newsgroup newbie. Never had much interest in the Newsgroups until I found out you were uploading DVD's there. I downloaded the A Digital Man edit of Episode 1. However, I got an error that said that two of the files (r80 part 15 and r83 part 33I think) were corrupt. How can I go about finding uncorrupted versions of these 2 files so that I can burn the disc?
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Finish up DarkJedi's - Definitive Collection (Great straight transfer no color correction, looks better then EditDroid)
DrM's - RTW Ep4 and 5
DarkJedi's - Blade Runner (a.b.dvd and a.b.starwars, I put a z for the first character to drop it to the buttom so it is not in the middle of posts on a.b.starwars)
I will be out of town from now until late sunday night so if anything goes wrong with my computer and it stops posting I will fix it sunday, more likely Monday night.
Enjoy!
