well, if the Aints could do that, maybe the Eagles will fare better against them in this year's Superbowl.

Bears beat the Colts without the help of Grossman. Anyone see the first possession by Indy? Something like one penalty for each minute of game play up to that point in the game. Every time the Colts touched the ball, it seemed like there was a penalty. Go BEARS!

Oh, and I will be at the game this Friday when they take on the Bills here at home. Woo hoo!

Say, I read that this player had a heart atack or heat stroke or something like that and died after a game... I'm asuming it's a heart problem, which can happen quite often... About four or five football (soccer) players died of sudden heart atacks during games for the past 3 or 4 years (in the whole world)...

The results of the autopsy released to the press gave no explanation for the death.

Nobody knows what happened to Thomas Herrion. Even his coach said that he was in "good spirits" just before the collapse. Really sad. I hate seeing this happen.

It has happened before in football (soccer) games in a similar way, so I'm pretty much sure it was heart failure. Sadly, it can happen at anytime with people that have a heart disorder and son't know it - you could be walking on the street and then BANG, you're history.

Sometimes athletes know about their heart conditions but hide it from everyone so they don't stop being a professional player. It has happened with a soccer player in Brazil who died early this year. He was running on the field, and then he bent down, with his hands on his knees, and then he just collapsed on the ground, dead. With this european player it was even more weird, about 2 years ago, he was simply walking on the field, smiling, and suddenly he just falls to the ground. Bit shocking to watch.

YOU HAVE TO MAKE A SIGN TO TAKE TO THE GAME. MAKE IT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE BEARS AND OT.COM. I'LL SEE IF I CAN SPOT YOU IN THE STANDS WHILE I WATCH THE GAME.

Good game. Bledsoe showed that he can still rifle the ball and run when he needs to. A few of his passes were underthrown though - short passes at that.

Hasselbeck looked decent except for that interception which was a poor decision on the run. He had two guys open right in front of him. Here's hoping he has a GREAT season though! (he's my starting QB on my fantasy team)

I shouldn't need a sign. I'll be in the south endzone wearing a hunter's fluorescent orange baseball cap with a Bears logo on it. I may also be wearing a Jim Miller jersey. Oh, and when I say "fluorescent," I mean it. It's bright.
