A Question About Torrents

Hi everybody, I'm new to these forums. I got in contact with a few people here and they all told me to go to MySpleen for Star Wars extras and stuff. I was just going to ask if there were any computer whizzes here that know lots about torrents. I'd like to burn the stuff I have to DVD, menus and all, but I don't know how! The folder came with artwork, and MSInfo document, and another folder called VIDEO_TS. Inside the folder, there's this stuff...

I can open it using Dell PowerDVD, but there's a bunch of stuff that I don't know where it goes. The whole thing is divided into parts, and the menu is included. Does anybody here know how I can make a DVD out of all this? Thanks so much! I'm just so sick of Lucas' "improved" DVD box set.

with the folder your showing basically you need to use nero or something like that to burn it to a video dvd. if you load up nero, it will (the two versions im familiar with) either show you a video_ts folder and you will go into that and then select files and select the files shown below. or it will just show a blank file list and you can select the files shown below and nero takes care of the video_ts folder.

if you say which burning software you have I or someone else on the board can prob give better instructions on how to burn it to a dvd.

Well, I have Roxio but I think it's only for music. I also have Pinnacle Studio 9, which I usually use for DVDs, but it doesn't accept VOB files.

Get Nero and you should be good to go. I don't think you can do it with roxio. I'm not possitive. Here is a link to a guide on burning DVD files with Nero.

I also found this for Roxio but I have no clue as to what version you have.

Remember only you can prevent piracy. Don't use this info for evil or I'll be forced to kill you.

Even if you can do it with roxio you should still get nero, it is a much better program by far.

Okay, I got Nero.

I tried burning the Cowclops V.2 ANH to DVD. Everything worked great. The menus came out fine on my TV screen, along with sound and animation. The only problem...the only audio track I can play is the commentary. I've tried turning it off, to no avail. I can't seem to get it to play the movie normally without commentary. On my computer, it works fine, so I'm stumped.

Do you have another set top dvd player to try the disc in? It might be your dvd player.

Ah, okay, got it to work. This time I checked the Nero thing where it tells you what is going to burn. Apparently, the main audio tracked was unchecked by default. Strange. The only thing was, the "Advanced Analysis" setting was blanked out for some reason, but it's all working okay now.
