TNT will be having a Marathon of Star Wars. I’m curious if these are the “crappy” 04 Blu-ray master or the new 4k masters. I believe they got the rights to air the 16x9 cropped Blu-ray/digital (2015 no fox logo) version a few years back. I don’t have cable anymore so I can’t see for myself.
This could be a good time for Lucasfilm and Disney to drop a teaser for the upcoming new physical 4k disc boxset. Plus, maybe, and look at bonus content.
Unfortunately we can only hope and possibly be disappointed that it’ll just be the “Muclunkey” 19SE in the set.
