Here is a few of my own that is one of those “should be” I think…
Replace the Black triangle 3P0 is waving to with the missing sandcrawler element or an image of the sandcrawler.
Add the missing tube background to the escape pod launch and have the escape pod rotate.
Put the tantive in the clamp under the star destroyer.
Restore Ponda Babba’s original arm chopped off.
Add missing star destroyer when falcon flys away from tattooine.
Remove Alderran from deathstar viewscreen so Leia does not look silly until it is announced planet of Alderaan. Use only one version of alderaan matte element. Have stars and planet go in opposite directions on alderaan viewscreen shot.
Add missing shot of viewscreen with stars after deathstar escape. “Are they away?”
Use alternate Angle for Han running up the ramp Docking bay 94.
Add alternate angle for Motti so his face is in camera when explaining final checks complete and viewscreen graphic.
Add a shot of smoke from behind sand dunes for establishing shot sandcrawler destroyed.
Uncensor cell block gunfight.
Put dish on the falcon docking bay 94
Make new binary sunset sky to remove bad matte shot.
Add short dialogue extension conference room scene.
Remove rubbish special edition CGI from mos eisley and go back to the original also remove Jabba. Make a nice matte painting establishing shot of mos eisley job done. Restore storm trooper waving through sleek yellow and black landspeeder.
Restore Han pulling a face at Chewie on Yavin Base
Cut to close up Dodonna “May the force be with you” end of briefing.
Restore the original take off from Yavin but put the Massasi temple in the shot. Then cut to Space leaving atmosphere.
Restore at least the audio “Let’s get out of here before that thing goes supernova” prior to death star explosion. And add the chain reaction to the surface of the deathstar. Show Tarkin watch the viewscreen go off.
Restore original death star explosion and alterate explosion out of x-wing back window on “may the force be with you always” luke in cockpit.
Put all sequences in the correct order of chronology and add any laser missing elements.
Fix battle of Yavin sequences missing shots elements and scene orders.
Create chasm matte of abyss when luke looks down death star bridge shoot out.
Fix death star sphere graphic
Add live action close ups for storm troopers riding Dewbacks alternate take.
Fix choppy edit of falcon flying away from deathstar. Sound and video feel cut off from next scene.
Add missing shot of sentry ships tie fighters before the rumbles and “here they come”
Restore missing scene of holo chess pieces stop motion animation.
Replace or improve Matte paintings of death Star docking bays.
Use 81 star destroyer opening shot flyover first scene.
Fix Green lasers missing yellow core and going turqoise / cyan.
Fix Red / orange going pink
Fix flashes going full on Magenta rather than Red / yellow
Fix tractor beam matte painting weird coloration.
Fix Death star elevator matte painting big black strip running through it.
Restore music for the Dianogu trash compacor scene.
Add missing shot of Dianogu tentacle at door Han shoots at “wait they’ll hear!” Or use the eyeball tentacle for this if it is moved shot.
Use Alternate angle for Vader swipe at Ben Kenobi during duel where Vader strikes the wall from trailer.
Restore Greedo scene to original version but use wide angle from SE for Han Killing Greedo.
Use alternate takes for cantina Dr evanzan approaching Luke. Han Jenny Kissing. Move Greedo spying on Han back to original placement. Move when Luke and Kenobi leave cantina Insert Gasmask Character to join the Han and greedo scene together rather than broken timeline.
Restore Original Destruction of Alderaan special effects and fix music cue removing small footage overun mistake of tarkin from behind mouthing a line with no audio. Also fix Vafer misiing chestplate.
For the death of John Doe x-wing pilot restore the explosion from the trailer for his death and move the x -wing destroyed travelling across the surface prior to luke making his attack run that is destroyed by surface gunfire.
Add Red leaders dive on the trench that is missing.
Fix Luke flying being chased by tie fighter missing background element. Should be up and away from surface seen in concept art drawings. Replace the moment Luke is hit by laser fire which is actually porkins being hit by laserfire. So correctly the tie fighter scores a hit and not surface guns.
Show a tie fighter in the trench shooting for gold leaders death vaders Tie shooting for Biggs death short inserts. Sloppy footage overuns.
Fix only 2 xwing rather than 3 fighters appearing for intial Luke Biggs and wedge attack run. “We’re going in we’re going in full throttle”
