With me it's the opposite. When I'm busy and have to do lots of work, time flies by like this *snaps*. Maybe because I'm always running against the clock to finish stuff.
But when the opposite happens, and there's nothing to do, it's a torture. The clocks suddenly STOPS. Sometimes I can talk to someone or get out for a walk and a coffee or read something, or study something, but sometimes I have no one to talk no where to go nothing to do at all but wait... One thing I do is to draw a clock on a paper and the hands as they move, and imagine "when the hands get here I can go"... or I draw a glass of water and start "filling up" the glass as the time progresses, in a way that it'll be filled when the time to go arrives... The sort of thing only someone completely insane as myself would do.
