Totally with you guys I think. The eyes could distract from one of the film’s major moments.

Just to play it out a little further, though, here’s two options, one which is even stronger on the eyes than before, with brighter yellow. The other is a more subtle, briefer flare of the eyes as he’s struck by the lightsaber that quickly dissipates.
