Ok, so I’m not buying the first shot of the eyes…the change of colour within the shot…in such a close up it’s too on the nose and even somewhat distracting.

The second shot (the mid-shot) where eyes are already yellow is much more subtle and personally i like how if you don’t telegraph the change of colour in the first shot (the closeup)it’s almost ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ and thats where the gold is. Hinting/foreshadowing rather than spelling it all out??

However, I love the blue aura departing the body!!

So, now that you have made these ideas into a real tangible thing, can I dare to throw in some thoughts on whether the sith eyes are even necessary? (from a story perspective)

If we are approaching this as Snoke being Palpatines puppet…perhaps even a surrogate body to inhabit…i like to think that even though Snoke looks shocked at being run through…it’s just an act.

Palpatine is the puppet master ala ‘ Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design’

He knew EXACTLY what was coming and so any shock/suprise/pain he showed was only for show and therefore I don’t think he’d lose sight of himself or his physical control of Snoke to allow his eyes to show through?

I can totally see the logic of seeing the palpatine essence evacuate Snokes corpse…but the eyes? Im not so sure they are even necessary

However, as per my observations above…the yellow eyes in the mid shot are a lot better and i feel the subtlety here is a much more stylish way of showing that there is definitely something ‘Sithy’ about Snoke 😃
