Does anyone have a digital copy of this? It aired on the Sci-Fi channel in, what, 2000?

There used to be a copy up at TF.net, but it is long dead.

I asked about this months ago. At the time no one knew of where I could find a downloadable copy. There is more information about it on StaWars.com, but like TheSessler said, the link to the quicktime file is no longer working.

I would still like to see it if someone knows of where I can get it.

Some fans are trying to make it into a cartoon. It was a while ago that I read about it, but they're goal was to make a Clone Wars style cartoon out of the NJO series. I will see if I still have the link in my favorites.

Did any one look at the picture of the cancelled siege book. It is a pic of the barnes & noble website. While it is interesting that at one time had a listing that never quite made it, the thing that intrigued me was the price. A whopping $125.82! They must have been planning one heck a book...more like the Encyclopedia Brittanica!

Wow, that was awesome!

Stuff like that makes me wish there was a sequel trilogy. It'd be great to see Mark Hamill return as an experienced, mature Jedi Master Skywalker. I see an older Luke being a lot like Qui-Gon.

you know the really cool thing, NJO takes place 25 years after ANH, so all the orginal cast are the right age for the movies to be shot. that would be really cool if gorge decided jsut for the hell of it to through 500 mill at a 5 or 6 movie series, write all the screen plays at once, then film them all at once and release them over the span of 5 or 6 years, like they did with LOTR, the story arch is already there all he would have to is to turn it into a screen play. it might be doable but he would have to start ASAP and get the filming going by at least 2007.

it would be cool though cause he he doesnt have to call them episode anything jsut call them starwars - vector prime or destiny's

one idea that i know has been put forth is for him to turn that hard covers only into movies, if he did that, then there would be 4 movies, vector prime, Star by Star, destiny's way and the Unifying force. if he did that he could add 2 more movies, one between vector prime and star by star, and another one between star by star and destiny's way. do this would be great cause though alot of the smaller story lines would be cut out, you could still get the real guts of the storyline. and the drama it puts the Universe through.

I haven't read any NJO (I've still got plenty of EU to get to before that era), but that idea does intrigue me. Remember when Lucas originally said Star Was was 12 movies long?

or maybe he could go The New Jedi order ep 1 and so on. the best thing would to see a TV show version similar to BSG.
