DZ-330, I still prefer to end with the broom boy, because of the pacing and thematic resonance (despite the repeated use of the force theme). I also like that it transcends the immediate story, giving us time to think about the big picture. I agree it would work well at the end of IX, but only if it was longer and included more kids, Rey toys…etc It would be weird if they only mentioned Luke’s actions on Crait, especially since he’s barely in the IX.

I really hope the edits of TROS can better pay off Luke’s heroics, because that was one of the biggest disappointments for me.
