That was fantastic!! Great story and thorough writing. Jodie is much more on her game now and it shows in her portrayal, as well as the direction of the Doctor. I like that she’s more in control of the crew and their situation. She’s very much The Doctor. Loving her confidence. Also loving… Jodie in a tux. swoon

SPOILER #1

Loved the twist. Did not see that coming. Great way to introduce him too, having the Doctor realize she’d been fooled by him. Great job on The Master being as unstable as the Missy version, which was a tall order for sure. Ms Gomez may be the high water mark. Jodie’s acting in the plane scene was her finest yet. The subtleties and nuanced reactions - top notch and as realistic as I’ve seen from any of the Doctors in years. Particularly, her being nearly physically ill at the realization of who O really was. This scene was the best of the show; https://youtu.be/jg92hfbjyyA For me, maybe one of the best scenes in the last decade. Jodie is amazing. I really like the way she says “I don’t know” when he starts the reveal. She grammatically accents the beginning of the sentence in a way that reflects how she really has no idea what’s happening, but she’s weirdly calm and confused for a moment.

SPOILER #2

I thought Ms Gill was at the top of her game as well. Outstanding work, as well as realistic, having her be visibly and physically emotional at having been near death. Even more moving to have her upset for so long. She was deeply bothered and it showed. Outstanding work on Ms Gill’s part.
