Are you interested in branching in different story directions for the characters, or would rather keep as to what happens in the story. An example would be Ben’s death, and having him live in your edit (even though it would be almost impossible unless an alternate ending was shot and released to the public). I know you had Padmé survive your edit of Episode III, but that did make sense to tie more fittingly with Leia’s description of her in Return of the Jedi. Plus, those were prequels to the Original Trilogy, and these are sequels.
