I think this is a fair question. If this is suppose to be an ultimate victory, then maybe. If you’re stressing that fascism and tyranny can rise when you least expect it and do-gooders have to remain vigilant, then maybe not.
I feel like the Last Jedi tried to make it the case where fascism and tyranny would rise up whenever you least expect it, but the Rise of Skywalker ditched that and was trying to say something along the lines of Palpatine or the Banite Sith were behind everything wrong in the galaxy. So… what to make of it?
